Easter 2015 vs Easter 2016

2015:

Easter out on the farm. 39ish weeks pregnant. Arlo was just a week from being born!

Easter 2016:

We three Chandlers went to church and Arlo went to the nursery for the first time! Both us parents were pretty anxious but the nursery worker said he was "quiet". Poor guy must have been so confused!

After a nap Arlo packed his toys and was ready to go to Aunt Wubby's for Easter lunch!

Oh this Hoda man!

Parties so hard celebrating the savior of the world. Nap time!!

It was a great first Easter with an outside baby. Not fancy outfit or basket but it was still so great to be with the family!!

Morning, Arlo

Some of my very favorite moments with Arlo are first thing when he wakes up in the morning.

He is still asleep when I leave for work in the morning so this delight is a rare weekend treat.

Arlo is still puffy from sleep but so vocal and happy. He did not get that from me! I hope it continues though!

He's just such a happy boy and it's even more highlighted in the mornings, which makes the sting of not being able to sleep in bearable!

Selfies

I've never been one for selfies. Until now. I had a dear friend tell me to remember to take photos with your baby. They seem self-indulgent at the time but looking back through my photos I am so glad I have these to remember our times together. Be it snuggling in bed, or watching the cousins play miniature golf. I want all the memories.

The very first family selfie. It almost feels too special to share...

Oh my heart. I don't even give two shits that I look so puffy (ahem- fat) because this photo is happiness. Pure joy. And nothing can ruin that.

Sunshiiiiine!

It's getting warmer so we have been doing some serious outside time. Parks are pretty much just 10 minutes in the swing then bail, but it is something and it makes me so happy! We have broken out the sweet off road long stroller and gone on a few walks too!

Oh the sun shine is so good for the soul! Arlo has especially enjoyed watching Jeff skip rocks on the river (if you can call it that) behind our house. It's a special special relationship those two have and I am thanful everyday that I get to be a part of the gang.

Hers hoping for a mild summer! Hahaha yeah right. We live in Virginia.
